I come from a borderland
Francesco RotoloConfinis wines were born in 2017 from the willingness of Francesco Rotolo, young winemaker from San Michele all’Adige born into the wine business in the family wineries Mario Schiopetto and Volpe Pasini, to give birth to a new and cool interpretation of the Friulian wines and of their Terroir.

THE TERRITORY
Unique hills, in the
center of the “Mitteleuropa”
To the north-eastern borders of Italy, not far from Venice, extends a one of a kind area of vines, enclosed between Italy, Austria and Slovenia, which embraces stories of peoples, cultures, traditions and different languages.
The vine has been growing in this territory for centuries, in a particular microclimate protected from the cold winds to the North, thanks to the presence of the Alps, and mitigates by the proximity of the Adriatic Sea to the south.On a succession of hills develop several Terroir which represent a mosaic of colours and scents of a Territory that, thanks to wine, expresses the soul of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
